Join Us in Celebrating 70 Years of Orthopaedic Research

The ORS Annual Meeting brings the orthopaedic community together for four days of workshops, learning sessions, networking, and advocacy. In addition to the education and fun, attendees can also learn from industry partners about the latest product innovations in orthopaedics. Finally, it is a great time to visit Long Beach and help ORS commemorate 70 years of research to advance musculoskeletal health for patients and families.

Abstract submission is now open.

To start, submit or edit your abstract(s), you will need to login to the member portal with your ORS username and password. If you do not have an ORS username, you will have the opportunity to create one.

Once you are logged in, you will be redirected to the ORS 2024 Abstract Submission site.

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

Abstract submission closes on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Acceptance Notifications will be sent to presenting authors on Wednesday, November 8.

Open Door 2024
Open Door 2024 will take place February 2, 2024, as part of the Annual Meeting. The goal is to get students excited about the possibility of future careers in the musculoskeletal sciences, introducing them to a wide variety of professional pathways and work performed by our ORS members.

What: 2024 NIST Rapid Microbial Testing Methods Consortium Workshop

When:  Day 1: Thursday, April 11, 2024 (OPEN to public, Registration Link

Day 2: Friday, April 12, 2024 (Consortium members only, Link to Join Consortium)

Workshop Overview:

The NIST-led Rapid Microbial Testing Methods (RMTM) Consortium launched in 2020 to develop standards and measurement-based solutions to advance the use of RMTMs in advanced therapy products.  NIST is hosting the 4th annual workshop on RMTMs to update the community on RMTM Consortium efforts and to work on Consortium deliverables.  Over the course of two days, independent working sessions (1 h to 2 h in length) will be hosted, with Day 1 open to the public and Day 2 for Consortium members only.  This open, virtual workshop is free of charge.  All interested parties are invited to Day 1, including advanced therapy producers, RMTM assay/instrument developers, and cell reference material producers.  New members are being accepted into the Consortium.
