ADVANCES IN TRANSLATIONAL DENTISTRY: NEW STRATEGIES FOR DENTAL TISSUE REGENERATION
Effective methods for the functional repair of craniomaxillofacial (CMF) hard and soft tissue regeneration remain a significant health challenge for both civilians and military personnel. Recent advances in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine and Dentistry provide promise for new and
more effective therapies to repair and regenerate CMF tissues in a timely manner. Here we will discuss some of these recent and exciting approaches and discuss how they are driving the future of clinical dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial surgical therapies.
